Children under 6: Cameron Falls Hike

Enjoy a scenic hike to beautiful Cameron Falls with a guide. You will enjoy stories about the animals and plants that inhabit the Northwest Territories, and the yellow leaves that cover the area in the fall.
The hike from the entrance to Cameron Falls is about 1.5 km one way and takes about 30 minutes.
The course includes rocky terrain, so please wear comfortable clothing. After arriving at the falls, there will be a 10-15 minute break. English-speaking guide may be provided for this tour.

    • What time does the tour start and end?
      Summer: 9:00pm to 2:00am; Winter: 10:00am to 3:00am.
    • How long do you accept reservations for tours?
      We accept reservations until 5pm the day before the event.
    • Are there restrooms in the Aurora viewing areas?
      Yes, we do. Please note that this is not a flush type.
    • Can I go to the restroom during Aurora hunting?
      Basically, there are restrooms only in the aurora viewing areas, so please use the restrooms at your hotel before joining the tour.
    • When do I have to cancel my tour?
      Please do so at least 7 days in advance. After 7 days, cancellation fee will be charged.
    • What is the scaffolding like at the Aurora viewing sites?
      It is pitch-dark outside, and there are some bumpy spots, so please wear comfortable walking clothes and bring a light.
    • How far is it from the city to the Aurora viewing sites?
      It will take about 40 minutes by car.
    • Do you get carsick?
      The tour may be on bumpy roads, so please bring anti-sickness medicine if you are easily intoxicated.

The city is divided into three areas. The center of the city is Downtown, where you will stay, Old Town, the birthplace of Yellowknife, and New Town
Newtown is a residential area. Your guide will be happy to provide you with recommendations for souvenirs, restaurants, etc.
